Default Opinions on Yokohama S.drive tires?

I called a tire shop around here to see what they had in stock. They do deal with nitto but non in stock. The guy told me that nitto makes these Yokohama S.drive tires and they are a very good street tire plus good price. Anyone have any info on them?

As far as I know Yokohama is an independent company. Toyo owns Nitto.

The Yokohama S-Drive is an excellent UHP summer model. It has great dry and wet performance and typically lasts around 25K miles.

I have S-drives on my WS6 and I am very happy with them. Very good dry grip, good wet grip and quiet.

Well my tires before this have been pretty bald for some time and anything would feel better than bald tires lol. But I do like these. My first ever trip to a 1/4 mile track yesterday with these brand new tires I did a 2.093 60' and 13.1 1/4 mile. But thats the best I did all night lol. I also think they look good. Very good for the price I believe. Ill get some pics up so you guys can see how they look.
