Crazy wheels!!! But 19'' would look better IMO. Still the best looking fbody with 20' I've seen so far! ..and spacers are a good idea plus I would do Halle Berry.

Thanks everyone for the compliments

Jonny I couldnt agree with you more. I would prefer 19s all around as well any day of the week. The fact that my ss has a CME and that the fbody is bigger than my c4 with 19s I thought they could be done. I bough these wheels used and it was a steal so I had no choice but 19/20. C5 and c6 guys only go staggered so options are limited.

I hear you on the spacers. I considered it and almost wish the rears were 'in' more. Its a strong personal opinion. I am very against bringing wheels out too far. I tried with my vette 10 years ago with drm billet spacers and for some reason the wheels slightly tucked in always looked better. Why ? because IMO it outlines the body Much more. with my vette wheels tucked in the hood and fender and arches looked waay better. the wheels being out took away from the look. On my camaro though I may get a small spacer. I will wait to see what the alignment will do. I think it may just be all the negative camber causing it to look so far in. the offset was just 2mm apart front to back.

I'll be washing the motor in the next few days and changing out tons of bolts to make it look like new again. Ill have tons of pics coming. I still haven't decided on a grill yet. I do kind of like the billet grilles but I would do that if I had big TTs. Its between the wings west or an slp grille. thoughts?

Here's what i did for a grill on my old white z28 that i bought just last april and sold for this SS... Here's a before and after pic of it's makeover I did on it...note the grille.. i cut enough of the sock grille to keep the stock plate bracket. I used white tape to fill the holes. I was thinking I could use tape and use touch up to fill on the ss...

I think the front needs a spacer. I hate when they're tucked TOO far in.

Aye I do like them tucked in a bit the front always looks more aggressive really showing off the coke bottle figure of the maros front fenders. But i didnt say I wouldnt consider spacers. the front was lowered around 3 " or so and I still need an alignment. I'm not sure how much lowering affected my camber but they are definitely 'in' a little bit because of it.

2 more pics.. seems I kind of like this angle lol. Cool how SOM reacts to different lights the 2nd was in a REALLY bright parking lot.

What do you guys think about a grill.. sLP or the way I had it on the white Z? The latter is obviously free so I can do it fast and easy. I think I'm going to do it tomorrow I can always get an slp I guess if I don't like it.

Nastyc4,
Try it the way you had it on your White Z, with one exception ditch the plate frame then bend the lic.# plate to fit the contours of the nose and secure it with 3M double sided bodyside molding tape.

Exactly The rears look ok , in a bit to far for my tastes, but not bad . In the front 3/4 shot and rear 3/4 shot though, my eyes are drawn immediately to the front wheels because there in to far . The effect makes the sidewalls on the tire appear smaller than they already are . Bringing them out a bit I think would make a pretty dramtic difference .

Anyways though, nice job . The SS looks fantastic with the just the right amount of subtle appearence upgrades . JMO on the grill, I would do without one like on the white car. With the clear corners it just looks better. Im not to fond of the glossy black SLP grill.

Wow thanks and no problem at all !!! that is just too cool ! In truth bringing the wheel out just reinforces my liking to the way it is. No doubt when i get an alignment it will come out a bit but it's just too far out like that in the chop. Maybe its just me I dunno but bringing it out just shows more tire.. and takes away from the fender curves.
