meatyz, sorry to hijack, but when you get the wheels on can you take pics of the fitment? Also when you get a chance can you measure the backspacing and offset of your 17x11" wheels? I would greatly appreciate it as I will be ordering wheels for my 3" per side narrowed rear end and want no clearance issues. thanks!

17 x 11 ZR1's with 315 35 17 Nitto NT05's on all 4 corners
Hello,
I and several other f-body buddies run 17 x 11 ZR1 replicas (50mm offset) with 315 35 17 Nitto NT05's on all 4 corners. I have Strano Springs and my friends have GW or GC adjustables, but we are all at similar ride heights.
To make the fronts fit you have to grind off casting flash on the spindle and run 1/8" to 1/4" spacers. We all have Blaine Fab. hubcentric spacers. Several of the guys have the C6 front brake kit and need to use the 1/4" spacers. I use 1/8" spacers on my 02 SS. There is a tiny bit of rubbing on the inner fender wheel and when at full lock turns.
For the rear, we rolled the fender lips, dented in the wheel well slightly and ground clearance on the bump stop and adjusted the PHB. Those of us with an adjustable PHB run 1/4" hubcentric spacers. One person has the Fays watts link and does not use any spacers as the rear end does not move around like with the PHB. No rubbing in the rear.
I run my 17x11's for autocross only and drive to and from the events. The others keep them on all the time. The BFM's are tons of fun.
