Default 255/50/16 Drag radials or street tires?(A4)

I need new tires very bad for the rears. I just got new front tires! I was looking at mt et streets. But I really don't want my stock 10 bolt to kill it's self.lol I also found some nice bfg's in 255/50/16. Should I get the street tires or will my 10 bolt be ok on et streets? I might go to the track 1 time a year. Car has 53,000 miles. I do alot of street racing though. My tires now just spin for ever. I'll get pics of how bad they spin today!!!

I care. Don't really want to replace the rear at this time.

If you drive the car alot i'd look into the NIttos instead of MT's. You can get more mileage out of the nittos...but if you are looking for traction only then go MT hands down! They grip better just suck at wear.

I would get the nittos as they do last longer and are exceptionally better in the rain than the other 2. Ive had both the nittos and the bfg's.

This thread is a month old but if you have MT DRs dont get caught in heavy rain because they will hydroplane over 25-30mph.

ET Streets will be easier on your 10bolt than drag radials. I've gone 1.60 flat 60ft on the 10 bolt many of times with ET streets, no problems.
