Installed: Weld R/Ts on my Maple Red Metallic TA

Collector plates are not too hard to get. Your car has to be on the "Extinct" list, meaning it's no longer produced. The Ohio BMV has a master list on what cars are on it. Second, it CANNOT be your daily driver. You MUST have another vehicle titled in your name to prove it won't be a daily cruiser. I like it cause if my county ever went E-check, I would be exempt.

Bought them from a local guy. He had them posted up on here once he sold his TA. He bought everything new for like ~$2300 and let them go for $1200. 3 track passes and less than 300 miles on everything. In a world where it seems like I'm never at the right place at the right time with cash in hand, this time I was.
I hate the salad shooters though. Thats why they're so rare.
I ran into a really similar deal with my FM5s. I couldnt belive it cause I'm never in the right place at the right time either. My deal was a little sweeter though haha. I got 4 17x9.5s for $1500 with tires and they had about 200 miles on them. Same guy sold me 2 17x11s with 315s for $1000 also about 200 miles!!! Too awesome.

As for the new rims, I ain't gonna lie, I'm digging the **** out of them. I've had the shooters on for nearly as long as I've owned the car ( 5 1/2 years), so changing up after so long really put new life and excitement back into things. I never really was a track guy, but now I'm fiending to see what these ET Streets do. With the mean stance and the tires hanging out the fenders, it's going to be hard to switch back and forth between the shooters and the Welds. Shooters are definitely going on hiatus until the road trip down to the Nats next August.

Not really too much. The air hammer made SHORT work of the wheel well. Maybe knocked it in like 1/4 to 1/3 of an inch. I did not roll the fender lip at all. Used a dead blow hammer on the harder metal near the subframe, but didn't use too much force and knocked it back only a little.
How tall are those tires?

Says the guy who gets bored with his rims and sells them after 5.5 weeks. This car has seen 3 sets of rims in the 6 years I have owned it. The stock 16" chromes that come on it, the shooters and these. I really do like the look of the 325, but I want to get my Fabbed 9" quick to make good use of them. They do look really good though. I am glad that I was at the right place and had cash when Wilkins sold them.
