Why aren't 10 spokes/96-01 WS6 wheels reproduced?
#22
I still dont get why. C5 wheels are everywhere, weather they are z06 or otherwise. This also goes for every vette wheel. wtf is the deal? I'd appreciate if someone from OE wheels that's reading this chimes in and gives us a straight answer= Yes, we can do it but need interest OR, no we aren't doing it period. See you. Lets move on.

no, on the site it says in bold yellow "Wheels are Refinished OE products (check our F.A.Q. for information about refinished wheels) unless otherwise noted. "
so they are NOT factory new...
i have the silver painted WS6 wheels and i would LOVE chrome ws6 wheels... i just don't know if i wanna fork over $1300 for a set

Have you considered stripping a set of polished WS6 wheels? No one believes me when I say they are just polished aluminum, they all think its chrome

i personally think they will but itll be another 10 to 20 years imo just like the old cars from the 60's and the 70's cause these cars have died out among all the other people out there and we on here and other forums are like the guys that kept there cars from the those era's. i feel like in those 10-20 years, people will wanna try and find and buy these cars and restore em. and untill then there wont be any major companies thatll reproduce the parts for em untill the restoring years for these cars comes about but thats just my 2 cents though lol

I would love to see OE Replicas or somebody make replica chrome 10 spoke's in either 17's or 18's with 11's in the rear. I had chrome 10 spokes on my car but they weren't in the greatest of condition so I switched to ZR1's, but I loved the look of the chrome 10 spokes. If they could produce them for the price of ZR1's or a little more there would be a market for them. You could count me in for a 17x9.5/17x11 or 18x9.5/18x10.5 set for sure.

In a somewhat mumbling and round-about-way, what I am saying is that there is no reason for you to catch hell for that. You are right; it could take many years to break even and then many more to begin to profit off of simply making the mold.

Are you saying chrome 10 spokes are a dime a dozen? I would be interested to see a set of 4 used chrome 10 spokes for sale in excellent condition that aren't really expensive. I've seen a few sets for sale, but none that have been in really good condiion. Alloy 10 spokes are common, but chrome 10 spokes aren't seen nearly as often as a set ZR1's or TT2's.

^ You can google them and there will be some companies pop up that sale them. That's how I found them for another member on here but I think the ones I found was high on the money side though.
