I think its a helpful guide, but I also recommend checking the tire manufacturers charts for the specific tires you are interested in. The sizes can vary between manufacturers and even within one manufacturer depending on model of tire or even brand specifications for that model of tire (i.e. GM, Porsche, Nissan.......)

^^this is true. I looked at what nearly every tire calc told me and then went to Nitto's website and sure enough it was different.

I use MT 3055s with tubes if I'm running on a noprep track. If its from the back end or on a bare rd, Hoosiers d06 work better.
