Can curb rash be fixed?
I bought a car and it already has z06 style wheels on it. I don't know if they are real or aftermarket ones. But every single wheel has curb rash on it. I also think they are running way to narrow of a tire for how wide the wheel are as the side walls angle towards the center...
Anyway i'm wondering if it is possible to have the wheels fixed? the chrome is good other than the area's the lip has dings in it. Would it be cheaper to just buy a new set of OE Wheels replica's?
Speaking of z06 wheels, what is the best price you can get on those? I think if i have to replace them i want to get a set of 17x9.5 with camaro specs, where should i look?

I have used sand paper before on a couple of my wheels that had light curb rash. Couldn't really tell anything was wrong with them afterwards. As long as it ain't too bad that seems to work. Don't know if it was the right thing to do but it worked. Probably just depends on how bad it is.

If they are chrome dipped u will have to have them re chromed if the chrome is gone. If it is polished aluminum it will be just a good sanding and a good polishing. Start coarse then get finer as u go until u basically start polishing them with compounds
