2 rims polished and taped off for paint. Two more to go! hopfuly i can polish, so some last minute sanding and touch ups, and then lay some primer tomorrow!! SO close to being done

2000 grit does make it easier but 1200 and going from brown, white, and then blue polishing/cutting compounds gets the same end result. Im happy with the shine i got out of the rims so far. They look much better then what i started with. And since they are already bare metal I can work on the polish as i have the rims. but for now they are shiney enough for me at teh present time and i just want to get these things painted.

Wednesday the rims were Primed and Color painted. Thursday, Clear coated. Friday took off the painters tap and put the center caps on with decals. they look SLAMTASTIC!
Pics will follow 2nite! For a DIY paint jpb, they turned out great. Now just waiting on tires to come in, paint to cure for a couple of weeks, and warmer weather.
