Mine were 275/50/r15. Lasted around 15000 miles and I took them off because the middle was worn enough they were dangerous in wet weather. I could still use them at the track another 2-3 trips I think...if they haven't gotten too hard from sitting.
You're talking about a 275/50 15". Try that tire on a 275/40 17", or a 275/35 18".

I heard "TRUST" on these Fourms had them on his 800+HP WS6 with I think a 315 size Toyo and he said they held up really good. They say they last almost longer then a Nitto and are nearly as sticky as a MT. I would Search the fourms on here for more info.

"They" say alot of things. Look if you guys want tires to stick, and I mean really stick, you just can't expect them to last as long. That's just how it is. Tires that are "sticky" have lower treadwear ratings, unfortunately they also come apart faster. Lower treadwear rating also equates to a softer compound. Not only that, you're not going to rotate your DR's to the front are you? You gotta compromise somewhere, you can't have your cake and eat it too as they say.

555r's have a treadwear of 100 while BFG's and MT's have treadwear of 0.

I suppose if you're not putting out alot of HP and have an auto car maybe the 555r may be good for you. The 555R cannot give me what I personally need out of a tire. Not through spirited driving on the street or at the track.

555r is a pretty sticky tire though. For a stock auto I did have some 245 40 17's and they wouldn't spin. Now I have the 3400 stall and im getting the 275 40 17's. Plus I just bought 4 12 way adjustable q1a shocks off a guy on here. And im also getin lca's and lca relocation brackets. So hopefully I can hook.

All the suspension **** in the world doesn't make up for a shitty tire. Period. If you think it does, well....

I have 315 555R's and i don't have any complaints. At the track i cut 1.8's at 18psi spraying off the line with a 3200 stall. I know 1.8's aren't fantastic but its decent for a 555R.

I cant speak about Nitto but I can tell you that Hoosier drs are just flat out nasty but im sure they dont last even as long as the MT drs. The Mt DR is pretty sweet to. Tried them both on the street and track. I was gonna order 275 Mt drs when my ss3600 is done unless I can find something that will hook almost as good but last alot longer. So right now its mt drs for the street and Hoosier drs for the track.
