actually if you have a 275/40/17 it is the same hieght as a 315/35/17 dont quote me on that but if i remember right i seen it on the kumho website ,the rim does fit17x11 with no problem ,i have them i have heard diffrent problems from diffrent people and some had no problems,im running a 285-40-17 on mine, until they wear out then on to the 315-35,the 285 does look quite nice on there ,no bulging like you would think and as i thought until i saw them

Those tires are the extact same tire height. So it would effect anything. The 17x11's fit you just have the get the right offset and backspacing.

ive done this 4th gen 17x11 thing quite a few times and everytime i find it nessessary to install an adjustable panhard, a 1.3 to 1.5 max drop on the car for the sake of loosing the 4x4 look. The bump stops will need to be shimmed-(a 1.5 drop without a shimmed stop will equal a groove in your tire via quarter pannel((I will not roll fender lips that is crap)) and trimmed-(A +36.5mm offset will allow the inside lip of the wheel to come in contact with the stop when suspension is unloaded) . Last a few taps or refabbing the wells are a must or you will rub on the high spots If you want the true million dollar stance, no rubbing into turns or our of a fish tale that is what you need to do.

As far as the speedo, i doubt you will be far off with original calibration. Honestly i rarely ever look at my speedo so i dont bother worrying about its calibration

very nice car, a profile shot would probably prove my point of it still being just a touch to high. But thats just my opinion, to each his own

Stock 245/50R16s are 25.64" tall
SS/WS6 275/40R17s are 25.66" tall
ZR1 315/35R17s are 25.68" tall

That is less than 1% difference in height, which means there will be less than 1% difference in speedo reading. In other words, no problems with speedo at all.

No you wont have a problem with your speedo. I have the same size wheel width and tire on my car with no problems.
