The continentals are better for all season driving... but i hear nothing about good things for the 555's. is it a good weather car only? if yes get the 555's if no get the continentals

I purchased the Nitto NT555's and I am happy with them. I was going to get an all season tire, but since I am in central CA, we don't see snow or ice and not much rain. The traction is way better than the Sumitomos that were on the car. At a full throttle launch, I don't get much wheel spin. The old tires didn't hook up too well, possibly due to a harder compound/longer tread life rating, which were like all season tires.

I ran the Nitto 555's, 555r's and currently the Invo's. I bought the INVO's mostly off reviews, tread pattern and tire life. The 555r's were an absolute nightmare when they got worn after ~5k miles in any type of in-climate weather. I definitely prefer the INVO's over the 555's

it is a daily driver just not in the winter and i try to avoid rain as much as i can but i do go out in it when i have to lol..looking at reviews and ratings of the invo it sounds like it has just as good grip if not better than the 555 with a quieter more comfortable ride quality thats why i am leaning towards that as of now...i dont think im considering the contis anymore dont feel like spending the extra couple hundred on them

My Niito 555drag radials have probably 13-16k miles on them, but they are basically on wear bars now, rain is scary.......... I need to replace them tho, my car will see some rain, what should I consider?

As far as the rim sizes If I could do it all over I would of went with a staggered 18 front and 19 rear combo. If you are going to do the c6 z06's DD's make sure that you get the regular front wheels with the spokes that extend to the lip and the rear's Deep Dish. I wish I ordered my combo like this
These wheels look better bigger!

The Continental DW has done extremely well in our testing. It also won the Euro Tuner magizne street tire shoot out. It offers a well balanced max performance dry traction, will excellent wet traction and offers good wear and ride/noise comfort for this style of tire. We tested it at the Tire Rack against top tires from Goodyear and the Michelin PS2 and this tire came out on top.

I'm buying the Invos as well. My tire guy says he had a set on his car making 700 to the tires and they held pretty good on the street and would hook at the track.
