20" wheels? i know what the mass thinks about this but keep an open mind now. I was thinking of a retro mod look like all our 1st and 2nd gens are doing. Those cars all look great with 20 or 22 inch wheels. I am looking at a set of 20" rims. 20x8.5 and 20x10. If i get you guys the back spacings for the front and backs could someone tell me please if they would look decent in the fitment aspect. ill try and post a pic of them so you can see the wheel. i have a black 01 ws6. thanks guys for all the input. front is 38 back is 45. thanks again.

I ran a 19x9.5 and 20x11 C5 Z06 wheel on my C5 coupe for several years. I hated the lack of tire options and the lack of sidewall, so I went down to an 18/19 setup, and will be changing to an 18/18 as soon as I get the wheels I want. Some people like the big wheels, but they weren't for me.

If you can fit them and the car is lowered, it will look great. But 20s are really big on 4th gens. I've run 19s and imo the best looking wheels i've had on one (rpm 505s) but had little 275/30/19s on it, no sidewall but never had a problem

Thanks everyone for their thoughts and opinions. I have run large wheels before on my old gtp and it was kind of a bitch. Right now I run 17 18 combo of the c5 chrome zo6 wheels 8.5s and 10.5s running 245 40 17s and 295 35 18s rides good and love the look. Just want to switch it up and see what that bastard will look like with some big black and machined wheels and get them tucked up in the fender. To
??? Brakes might look kind of funny in there too. Only other question is will the fitment look right with those numbers 38 in the front and 45 in the rear. Any idea? Or just rely on the company selling the wheels that they will look good? Thanks everyone and you will be the first to know when they are on come spring, or I guess in my garage!

I run 20x8.5 and 20x10 wheels and get compliments all the time. Its a streetcar, so being the fastest possible car isn't my concern.
The one thing to think about when going with a big wheel is to make sure to have bigger brakes...it didn't look good with stock brakes being so small, but looks better now with the CTS-v brakes

Wheels are HRE 541 polished/clear, exposed rivets, stepped lip. car is lowered on VT isolators (stock isolators removed), ground control coilovers (700/200) with bilsteins. Car is pretty much lowered all the way to try and keep the car height as low as possible (hence the stiff springs to prevent bottoming out).
They are 19/20 which to be honest I would have went 19/19 if I didnt buy my car with a CME which I never really liked on a camaro. I feel the 20 in the rear with a stepped lip (on a stepped lip rim the centre is actually 1" smaller than a reverse lip[deep dish] giving the appearance of a smaller wheel) pulls it off quite well.
i think a camaro with skirts or a T/A can pull off 20s well for sure. My vette runs 19x10, 19x11.5 265/30/19 and 315/25/19.
