I have to agree with most here and say that black wheels can look just as good as any other as long as its the right wheel for the right car.

IMHO,
Black wheels can looks beautiful if applied correctly. Same with Chrome.

What i don't like about black wheels, is it is sometimes hard to distinguish what the wheel design is sometimes (especially at night ).. it looks like a big black spot where the wheels once were .. sometimes the paint on the wheels are in better shape than the paint of the car haha .. those black z0sick wheels looks great on that camaro btw

With chrome, sometime people apply WAY to much chrome on their appearance.. like trucks that are 'all chromed out' .. uhh eww.. camaro's with 22" chrome wheels.. eww.. BUT chrome zr1 wheels, chrome c5 z06 wheels, and c6 z06 look great MY only complaint not related to appearance is they weigh a lil more than painted wheels, but if ur pushing 400+ hp then who cares?? It sounds pissed off, and looks pissed off

I happen to love my default zr1 wheels, low weight, easy to clean, and look great

But all that is my opinion nice cars btw guys!

I sure like mine. Polished or chrome wheels on a white car looks to plain.
Better pic then the tiny sig.

I like Black wheels, I mean, I like them more than I do chrome wheels on basically any color, just looks so sinister and no flash at all which is just my style. Especially on a color like NBM, Black wheels look sick. I'd give up my chrome ZR1's in a heartbeat for a set of Black one's in the same size, or even Silver's.

Chrome on my car ('05 CTS-V) to me puts the car in a different class; more grandpa-ish/ or luxury minded vs. the more aggressive nature of the car IMHO.

But like others have said, to each their own. I don't hate chrome, but I wouldn't do it on my current ride. Now if I had a "Big body Benz", then chrome is the only way to go.

I like chrome on my red Z28 and I like polished. Anything else, forget it... Chrome is also easily cleaned which I like.

Black wheels are a hit or miss. They can look great on white cars and most dark colored cars. They look horrible on silver cars, when compared to chrome or polished (been there, done that).

i had the center of my "rare" 91-92 firehawk wheels paint black and polished the lip of them. I've had Chrome, polished, Gunmetal, and grey on my car and black looks the Best IMHO.

I can't decide if I should go with chrome/polished or black on my pewter car.. The roof is black, tinted windows and tailights. Right now I have stock wheels painted graphite (close to gunmetal).

Sorry you think that. Blue with the right accents looks amazing.
