Default 315's on a 12"???

I was wondering if a set of 315 Nitto Invo's will fit on a 12" rim. Looking for something to go on my C6Z wheels. Any help is greatly appreciated.

why would you want to put 315's on a 12" rim?

Not that I am wanting to I just found some at a great price and was wondering if they will fit. I know they came with 325's so I was just curious.

They'll fit. You may have a slight stretch depending on which brand of tire you buy.

Am thinking of picking up the Nitto Invo's....I know in the past Nitto tires run a bit smaller than others of the same size. Unsure if this is still the case now or not though.

It really only seems to be the 315/35/17 555R that runs noticeably narrow. My 275's look fine.

Agreed, my regular 315 NT555's picked me up about an inch of width over the junk Sumitomos I had taken off. So I'd say the 555R's only run narrow.

The 555Rs are about an inch narrower that the 555s are too. I have pics of them side by side. I actually had to bfh the inner fenders for the 555s but not the Rs.

I'm on my BB so I can't quote, but in response to NVR_SPDS post:

I had done the BFH mod to help some tight areas with the sumitomos, with the NT555's I had to get the hammer back out and do a considerable amount of more work to get them to clear. I'd never been so happy to take a hammer to the car. Haha

No the car is not mini tubbed.

Camaro396- I agree but I plan to switch to a 18'' wheel that will have a wider tire.

NVR_SPDS please post pics of the comparison between the NT555R and the NT555. I'd like to see the difference in width. Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply, just saw this.

Heres some pics. First pic is the 555. Second, the R is on the right. Its mounted, but both are sitting flat on the floor. 3rd is compared to a Michelin 275/40-18:

Money shot!

Thanks for the pics. They were very helpful in helping me decide which tires to buy.
