They are absolutely okay for street use. Plenty of people have them on their DDs, rock out!

The november issue is out with the brake upgrade highlighted. I'm disappointed to see the "backyard" cts-v brakes replaced with more aftermarket stuff. I know using sponsor's stuff is what pays the bills, but I prefer seeing the back-yard thrifty engineering that results in repurposing the best that GM has to offer.

Jim, don't worry, the CTS-V brakes are going onto another GMHTP project car and we're taking that car's old brakes and re-purposing them for something else!

We loved the CTS-V's on the STi Killer for the same reasons you did, it's always nice to do some real "backyard" style hot rodding.

The Baer 6S calipers are a step in a different direction and we're excited to be testing them on the car, especially since it opens up the CTS-V calipers (and the unmentioned removed calipers) for different projects.

Do you have a close up of STi Killer from the rear with that valance? I was going to do the CME, but that valance would look good since I have a GMMG cat back with their oval tips. I'm just curious if that valance would line up with the GMMG tips.

Thanks!

Please excuse the stock wheels and disgusting ride height... these are old pictures!

The GMMG oval tips would look great under the 6LE valance, we have a set we've been meaning to install as soon as we get time.
