Default Skinnies?

Well i called Summit today to price out some 15x3.5 and 15x8s and the guy was telling me that i cant run the 15x3.5s everyday. He said any pothole, rock, or anything in the road will bend that wheel. He said they are too light and strickly for drag racing. What do you guys think? Has anyone experienced this? I know a lot of you run on skinnies everyday. What do ya'll think?

I run skinnies, but do not drive my car allot. You can run them, but you should be aware that they are not capable of running around corners very fast, and yes, a pothole can kill the rim. You have to be extra carefull.

Yes you can run them, just be safe.

avoid big potholes and curbs and you are fine. they arent the best for longevity but still are good. i assume you are talking welds or centerlines. also they are not DOT approved.

Yup. They have to say "Race Only" for liability reasons. Put a ton of street miles on my Welds without issue.

Ran them everyday for a year on a 67 Camaro daily driver. Just be warned, you loose the ability to make quick turns and should take things a bit more cautious so when that bear gets finished in the woods and jumps out ya
