I would only recommend stud through spacer for the front.
So no problems with the rear coming loose? Did you use permanent locktite on the rear as well?

Looks great. Thats how it shoulda looked from the factory. Back when these cars were new, I didnt think much of it as for the time it was pretty normal, but now...its really humorous how far in the stock wheels sit in the wheel wells.

I've had mine on for a few months, and they were still nice and tight when I retorqued them after the first few hundred miles. I also did some spirited driving on my way to Yosemite, and they are still nice and tight. I didn't use any threadlock, but I have the hubcentric ones on both sides.

I did this about 4 years ago but my fenders were already rolled due to the prostars I had before. BTW my car is lowered 2 inches!

IMO, get a set of H&R .75" or 1" hub spacers and do it right, you won't have any issues with them ever.

Heres my little addition:

Stock 00 WS.6 wheels, 11" wide, Nitto NT555s in 315/35, and the same style 1" spacer. Never loctite'd, never backed out on me:

Looks good Fellas! Did you guys using the h&r 1" adapters have to shorten or shave your studs down?

Depends on the wheels. I actually have ARP 2.5" studs in the rear, and they are not cut at all. With my stock wheels, there are reccesses between the lug holes that the ends of the studs fit in.

Kool, Thanks. I figured if I went with the 30mm which I believe is 1.25" I would not have to shave or shorten my studs. Because this will just be a temporary fix till next year.

Whats the difference between the spacers used by Kev SS AND THE H&R? It has a 74mm bore, would that sit on the hub?

oops nevermind, Just found that are hub bore is 70.5. Is that correct? If so I'd run that over the 74

The H&R adapters are hub centric on both sides. The side that mounts to the rotor and the side that mounts to the wheel.

I got me a set of the H&R 1" spacers on their way to me..should be here in 2 days. I cant wait to get them on.
I have never liked how the rear wheels tuck so far into the rear quarters. looks so stupid to me!

what springs are you using in the rear for your tires to rub?

I have 1.25" spacers on mine with 315 nitto's. I got the cheap ones on ebay and they seem to be pretty high quality. No loosening issues so far.

I'd also like to see what a 20mm spacer on the front looks like.

My car is still on 4 wheel drive mode with only the hose mod in the rear but here is a pic.
