Me too. That comment made me like my 275's a lot more then I previously did

I like my Nitto DR 275/40/17 9.5 set up. I've always thought about putting some real beef in the rear some day!

When did 275's become wide? Id like to think 315+ is wide, anything less is standard for a muscle car.

Maybe you have the wrong type of car if your woried about rotating tire. I rotate tires on my Fusion, not my T/A. But thats just me. My T/A is for fun, 315 rear theonly rotating I do is too a new tire!

air pressure is good. front end is tight (just did a bunch of work to it), alignment is perfect (slight toe in, one degree negative camber and almost 5 degrees positive caster.), and ive tried a bunch of different tires asymetrical and directional, still follows ruts.

I want to run a 245 or 255 up front on an 18" wheel.

And for the guys who run the same size all around and do rotate them cause its an fbody and they are to bad *** t rotate tires. I lterally double my tire life when I keep the rotated. Sorry but my camaros not cool enough for me to **** money away on tires.

275's up front, 315 DR's in the back

Pros........traction is a great thing my friend, and it looks bad ***

Cons.......drag radials wear out faster and are more expensive

its not that i am concerned about rotating tires, honestly, my rears are bald by the time they should be rotated anyway. ;-) it was more about listing anything i could think of as a con.

another con. the tires I have up front, they don't make any wider for a 17" rim and I am too OCD to have mismatched tires

I honestly haven't found any negatives to running a wider tire on the rear of my car. My car doesn't drive any differently than it did when I had 275 tires all the way around.

Well excuuuuuuuse me... Wide(ish)est tires I've ever had, and I don't think they're small by any means. Yeah I'd love to have 315s in the rear but that's not the smartest thing to do on a 9.5" wheel. Next time I buy wheels/tires they'll be 15s so my 275's are fine for now, haha. No offense taken though.

This.

315's on 11in or bust.

I will NEVER go down in tire size for an Fbody ever again, it looks awesome...but I'm used to it so most of the time I just think I need more =P

275 front and 315 in the rear...follows the road A LOT.
Might also be because I have soft shocks/springs and no front swaybar lol.

Yeah, 315 rears are about the biggest wow factor I get from people with my car. Being stuck with eagle f1's though sux at the moment.

The 275's up front are decent but as others have said they will follow ruts, so be sure to have a hand on the wheel on bad roads.
