Goodyear F1 GS-D3's!!!
Well after the blowout I got some new tires. Holy crap! I can't spin from a roll in 2nd anymore! In fact I punched it in 1st and it freaking hooked! I can't believe the traction from these tires. Someone stated they were the closest to DR's you could get before getting DR's! Well I think they were right.

damn i want these tires! Just cant' afford a set of 4 right now, and I think it might look pretty stupid with that kick butt tread pattern on the back, and the stock pattern on the front.

I like em, they grip real good in wet roads also. the only drawback to the tread pattern is the wheels tend to follow tar snakes and road groves. I have no problems with them.

If you actually see the wheels then you know that they look like they should have different tires on the back.

I'm probably gonna try and find a set of 4 275x35xZR18s since I'm getting a set of 4 18x10.5 Z06 Motorsports from Todd's Place.
How long would these last for daily driving? I avg. about a 1000 a month. What tire pressure is best or is 32 psi (owner's manual) sufficient?

A guy at the local Goodyear store was saying that they don't do for crap in the rain, and that most people didn't like them, yet alot of people on here like them. I think he was just trying to get me buy the stock F1s again. ????

The guy was flatout lying. I've already tested them in the rain. It was like I was driving on dry pavement. Even gunning it from a stop was easier. The stock F1's are more expensive. That's probably why he was doing that.

Oh and for the guy who mentioned the psi at the track. My guess is to just leave it around 32 or 34. Street tires do not work the same as slicks. Lowering your psi on street tires can actually cause the tire to bow and for you to put less rubber on the ground. Another thing is the burnout. You only need to do a small 1 to warm them up a bit. Anything more and you'll glaze the tire causing it to harden and give you less traction. Try to go around the water box if they allow you to too. You don't need water in your treads.

I put these tires on my wife's WRX and they are the best tires I have tried to date period. We just had an AutoX in the car and they were unbeleivable! I'll be puttin em on the WS6 if I can afford it.
