Guys interested in Iforged pricing. I got quotes on several of their 2-piece wheels. The 2-piece dont come in half inch incriments so for 18x9 and 18x10s it was $2500 something for a set full polished. For Snake Skinner, you have to go to the 3-piece for chrome and I have heard alot of negative things about whoever Iforged uses for chrome. Also build time was 8-10 weeks.

I would consider them if I knew the polish, if taken care of seriously which I would do, would last a long long time.

Yes. From what I know about factory polished wheels, any water that is left on them for awhile will leave hard waterspots that are a bitch to get off. If I ever get caught in rain ill dry off the wheels with a rag and then polish them up next wash. Im gonna get some Adams metal polish soon, I hear it works wonders and makes polishing a breeze.

Maybe widen them, then give them to a chrome plating shop. Just hope they get them nice and smooth before plating. I wonder how heavy they would be, they're pretty light from the factory.

Sorry for hijacking your thread OP lol. Chrome plating I saw on calchromes website added a quarter of a pound to stock rims. I always wanted to widen my stockers too but maybe down the road when I have more money to burn. I stripped the clear off my stockers, it looks real good but then again I actually have to polish them once a month now.

Jeez...you serious? Than what the hell good are these expensive high polished wheels? Show cars only that don;'t drive around?
I guess I'll stick to my original idea. But a set of painted OE Wheels.....strip them and have them chromed by a GOOD chrome shop here locally.
