I may bolt them on then one day. I took them off her car tonight for her to run the stockers in this weather. I set it up beside it just as a teaser. I will clean the wheels tomorrow.

How much offset can you get before the tires hit the fenders?

I noticed that the offsets don't really go less than +38 but I'm wondering if an 18x9.5" with +20 offset will clear the fenders. I'm not afraid to roll the fenders at all. I'm just tryin to get an idea of how much work will be involved with tucking a 9.5" wide with a 20mm offset. I want aggressive and flush. I don't want a stock style fitment like c6z reps on the 4g fbody.

Im really liking the options that are out there for the bmw. What year car and model are the wheels for? Will these wheels support a cts-v caliper up front(talking about the space needed to install them)?

Any BMW really, but the best ones in my opinion are wheels with specs for E46 M3's. Seem to be the most "flush".

I need a favor. Im looking at a 18x8.5 35mm offset. Would someone with a wheel similar go out and measure the distance from the inside of the spoke to the front of the caliper on a front wheel please?

If anyone with that size would please post a picture or 2 from the front looking down the side of the car. Im looking to see how far out they stick.

Thanks

Hhmm. For some reason I was thinking it was the other way. If that s the case then that's even better. Im trying to make sure that they will clear 4 piston brembo caliper.

Thank you sir.

the clearance is relative to the mounting face to the inside of the spoke, really has nothing to do with the width or offset. Think of it as offset just moves the outer shell further in or out relative to the rotor. The wheel face doesnt necessarilty change and that is what matters. As an example. a 9" wheel with a 48mm offset may sit a 1" inside the wheel well and may have 1" outer lip. but a 9" wheel with a 36mm offset will sit only 1/2" inside the wheel well but have a 1 1/2" outer lip however the wheel face will sit in exactly the same place in relation to the rotor. The only exception I know of is a custom wheel manufacture can play with the numbers and machine the mounting pad to account for those clearances and change that relationship.

Here's what I settled on. I absolutely love them. Only worry I have is brake clearance. I might not be able to clear brembos.

Bbs Rk
18x8.5" +13mm
245/40 front
245/45 rears
(17x10 +23 coming soon for extra rears)
