Default White wheels...how to keep them clean?

So I have the white 25th wheel on my TA right now. Seems like every time I take the long back breaking hours to clean them they get pretty damn dirty within a week.
I'm tired of this! They seem pretty dull right now. Ideally I would like to send them out to have them redone but that's just not an option right at this point.

My question is:
Can I buy a rattle can of decent gloss after I do a nice clean - will this prevent a lot of brake dust, road dirt, etc build up and or make it easier to clean?

You could wax them or try one of those "wheel protectant" sprays.

I would put the wheels in the attic and get something else to drive the car with. White wheels suck.

I say wax as well. that's the cheapest and easiest option....try it and see if you're happy with it.
