I know 6 weeks is just an estimate but I wasnt aware guys were waiting 3+ months. I know the wheels are some of the best on the market but a big reason I didnt go with Iforged was for the 2+ month wait and a big reason I was so high on CCW was the quick delivery. The deal I jumped on was great and you were always quick to respond with me over the last year when I went back and forth on wheels but I personally wont be ecstatic if I have to wait over 3 months for my wheels..
I hear you, Matt. However, now that we have an ample supply of materials and have been working diligently to get through this hiccup, your wheels will not take quite so long. Under normal circumstances, we don't typically go past 8 weeks, even when we're very busy.

I wouldn't mind waiting even if i knew it was going to be 6 months up front, the prices he sold these wheels at are stupid cheap. A set of FM10's for 2k, they seriously sell for more than that on here USED!!!

Too bad we were told 5-6 weeks normally and then it turned into 12-13 weeks and not even a small refund or free shipping was offered. I'm not asking for that now as I have my wheels and I am happy and glad the transaction is done. Danny is a great guy but unless I gave them a deadline like he was talking about I won't be ordering another set. I wouldn't call these stupid cheap either, just less than normal pricing by a good bit but not outrageous.

I understand everyone's frustrations and I apologize on behalf of my company. When you're talking about custom made wheels, however, it should be noted that every custom wheel manufacturer provides only estimates on delivery and each have had their own set of difficulties with delivery times. Now, in no way am I attempting to excuse our delays, as we are doing all we can to make them go faster because we don't feel we're executing an acceptable turn around time. However, I am saying that I know of even the biggest manufacturers (no names will be provided out of respect) having 12 week turn around times.

For future reference for everyone - If there is a specific time by which you need your wheels, just say so when you order them. With that information, I can either accept or refuse your order based on our ability to hit your target. If you don't have a deadline, on the other hand, you will be provided with an estimated build time that should be accurate within a couple of weeks. In other words, if you're quoted roughly 6 weeks, it may take 7 or 8. However, it may also take only 4 or 5. What's occurred in the past couple of months, with 10 and 12 week build times, is far from what we consider business as usual. It happens to all companies in our industry from time to time, but we're trying to prevent it from ever occurring again within our company.

Ugh....c'mon you guys. You should know by now, custom **** takes time and things come up beyond even the manufacturer's control. Because you pay a premium on "the good stuff" does not entitle anyone to a savings. Geezus, if that were the case, my engine, rear end, body work, etc would be free, lol.

The savior in this is that you've invested in one the best in biz. Took a little more time than "anticipated". It'll be worth the wait, welcome to the club....

Perfection takes time, can't wait to place my order. Hope Danny comes up with a holiday/Tax time sale. This hobby gets very frustrating at times, but I've learned that you must exercise patients to get the best quality product. It's just like having a house built, you expect it to be done one date, and its usually done much later than that date.

A delay will help me put the money together for new tires, so it's not as big of a deal to me.

the last few posts are soo true. I waited 3 months for my MWC fab 9...Man I was mad at the time, but I'd rather it take twice what they anticipated, than them take shortcut and get a sup par part.

I wish someone would buy my bike so I could start my wait.LOL (Wanting 19" Profil 13's). Hopefully showing it to a prospective buyer when I get home next week. Wish Me Luck!

Danny, I appreciate your prompt responses to both my emails and the posts on this forum. Thank you for keeping us in the loop with your business whether it's bad news or good news. I look forward to receiving the final product and I know it will be more than worth the wait.

I came home to these today

Worth every minute of wait time. They are gorgeous. I used to have a set of FM5s I bought used that I thought were nice, but when you take one of these out of the box for the first time knowing they've never even been mounted... it's like I could display them around my apartment as modern art.

Thanks Danny.
