Default BFG vs. Nitto

How do the BFG Drag Radials compare to the Nittos in the following categories?

Compound
Traction
Tire wear
Sidewall stiffness
etc....

I agree. Nittos last a lot longer than bfg's on the street but bfg's hook better at the track

Thx guys, good info, that's what I wanted to know. I just ordered the BFGs. I'm mostly a street driver and make an occasional trip to the track, but after putting my new cam and converter on, my street tires (Dunlop Sport 5000's) are worthless

I'll try the 315 BFGs on my new TTII 17x11's and see if that cures my traction problems. If they wear out too quick I'll get the Nittos next time.

Glad you brought this up. I'm wondering the same thing.

How much longer are talking on the Nittos. I think they have a treadware rating of 100 don't they? What are the BFG's rated at?

I didn't know there was such a thing as a "tread rating"?

Sure the lower the number the softer the compound. Slicks are usually a 50.

Even with the way people are talking about them cracking?

How much stickier are BFG's?

Had the BFG's on my GN- major caution required in the rain- friggin car would hydroplane at about 25 mph in a moderate rain. Nittos have been great in the wet.

My BFG's were night and day compared to the cheezy F1's, but I can still smoke them on a hot dry day an easy 300 ft. from a stop.
