Just finished one. Used 500, 1000, then wet sanded with 2000. I went ahead and used the aircraft remover and it worked good. Could really use some 3000 to get rid of any fine scratches, but I didn't have any so I didn't worry about it.

Hard to tell much difference in the pics, but there is a huge difference.

Polished one on left.

Hell yeah man, that looks great. So no issues with the aircraft stripper then? So does the clear just bubble up and then you peel it off? I've never used it before. I'm for sure doing mine this weekend.

No problems at all, I used a soft brush and went over the whole wheel. After the clear started to bubble I washed it off. If you have a source of high pressure water use that after the stripper has set awhile. Might have to do more than one coat, but you shouldn't have any problem getting it off. You can do this with the tires on, I did the WS6 wheels with the tires still on. Wear some rubber gloves and try not to get the remover on your skin, it does burn if you do.

So you didn't use the spray can version then? Thanks for all the help.

No I used the stuff that comes in a jug. I've never used the spray before, would work great if it worked as well. The stuff that comes in the jug is like a gel. Let me know if you use the spray and it works.

Wish these photos still worked. I’m refinishing my Profil 5S wheels and I’m contemplating stripping my technipolish and polishing as well.

Default Removing clear on technipolish Fikse wheels

I have two wheels where the clear is delaminating from the technipolished area. I tried the airline stripper and it did absolutely nothing to the clear. Didn't phase it one bit. I'm starting to think the clear might be some sort of clear powder coat. Has anyone been successful at removing the clear on Fikse wheels? I've used airline stripper on stock WS6 wheels several time. The clear will melt like butter. Totally different type of clear on Fikse wheels.
