With the recent purchase of a car hauler (great deal .... https://ls1tech.com/forums/racers-lo...ar-hauler.html ....), I have not been too eager to spend the cash right now, so I am still waiting for deals.

I am also planning to roll the fenders, trim some more off the rear wheel wells and grind a hair off the front caliper fins (the RT-S's slightly rub) soon.

If I were to order these again I would use Jim's Racing Tires all the way. I PM'ed Brian ^^ and used the same guy he used and the dude messed my order up when I even provided all the correct part numbers for him to order. Ridiculous.

It was worth a couple of dollars savings to me since I literally had them at my office in four days and they were perfect. I hated that Jesse ^ had such a problem and can see how it was way not worth it to him.

Thanks Mike ... I cannot wait either. I was hoping to have tires by now, but my wife wants out of her SLK350 ... too small. So I have been concentrating on getting her back into a "G". She traded an '08 G35S Sedan for the SLK and now we are looking to trade the SLK for an '08 G37S Coupe 4 months later, but I still love her. I get what I want for the most part so I try to give her the same.

Anyway, I hope to have the tires before the tracks open after this winter.

You being in New York don't happen to know someone with an Ivory G37S that is for sale on MyG37.com do you?

Sorry never went onto that website.
I did check it out and saw the post.
Looks clean.

Car says it is located in Brooklyn.
I'm located out on Long island about 30 miles away.

The car you are looking for is very popular here.
If you find a good deal it might pay to fly in and drive it back or hire someone
to drive it one way. A lot of people move there cars south for the winter so they don't have to rent one. Just a thought.

Thanks Mike ... I actually thought about the fly-in, drive-back thing, but, it is a hell of a chance if the car is not right. I have seen waaaay too many cars w/clean CarFax's/AutoCheck's with not only paint work, but actual damage repair. I am one of those people who can tell in 5 minutes whether a car has had paint work done or has factory original paint. It seems it is a lost art since soooo many people say, nope, never wrecked, never painted, but there it is plain as day ... trash under the paint, a drip in the base or clearcoat, fish eyes, etc, etc.

We will find something. She just needs to make up her mind on color. We are set on an "S", navigation, automatic, Graphite interior, but, she is stuck on color.

Actually, after a weekend of looking at junk (re-paints') in Atlanta, I am actually considering a fly-in, drive-out or if close enough, try out my new car hauler.

As far as the Brooklyn car, no such luck. The seller has not logged into MyG37.com since December 29th to get my thread replies or pm's.
