well both have the same tread patterns, just the R has a thicker mid patch for grip. either of them i wouldnt expect to be good DD's but thats up to the driver. i decide my tires by the grit, tread pattern, and speed rating. and ofcourse reading MULTIPLE reviews
well the tread life on some nittos are more than others, i have heard of a heavy Street/Strip car getting about 6-8 months out of NT05R's but also some mustang guys have had NT555R's for over 2 years, the tread looks minimal but they still perform to standard and no problems until almost completely slick!

i love the 555's for exactly that reason lol, the PERFECT street strip tire ever. heat em up and they are sticky then take them to 180 on the highway while putting a GT500 owner to shame lol
and about the 325's, ive seen many people fit a 325 on the 1999 WS6 rims. it looks like **** but it works, so im sure they would look good on a 10" rim, but your right, i might need to do some fender work, i hope the 19's would lift the car a bit too because im tired of bottoming out on the highway, is it difficult to roll the fenders? ive never heard of anyone at home doing so
