I myself saw a few wheels that were "original" (no one on the interwebs was running them) but there was always trade offs. Small rear width, weight, rivets. There was always something that turned me off with other rims other than the higher end ones were you get what your paying for. I justified the cost by getting everything I wanted in a wheel.
Orginal.......? The Fiske Wheels came on the Dick Harrell Edition Camaro's I would say their pretty orginal

Honestly the only reason i have the c6 rims is b/c they were on it when i bought the car. I like to have the Chrome or Gunmetal Z06 wheels w/o rivets. Had them on my Blue 95 Z-28 and loved them.

NBM cars look great, and honestly the wheels you have on it already look great with the car.

Fikse FM5 and CCW 505's looks great on any F-body, but they are the $3,000+ wheels you wanted to avoid.

^ Those are beautiful are they just oem wheels or aftermarket? got a link?

There's nothing wrong oe wheels for how cheap they are. Don't know why your so against C5 DD's, just look at them done right with a wheel spacer they look as good if not better than CCW's since there chrome. It's not NBM but its a rare metallic color and will look equally good on NBM, hope he don't mind me posting pics of his ride,
