Default Corvette Rims on 2002 Camaro

Hey ya'll, I just got a set of oem Corvette Z06 rims (( Similar to these http://www.customstreetdesigns.com/p...orsportCBK.jpg )) that are 17x9.5" up front and 18x10.5" in the rear. I need some help deciding on what tires to get. I'm considering Nitto NT555 and getting 265/40/17 up front and 305/35/18 in the rear.

Would this be an okay setup? Would I have any rubbing at all or traction control issues? Any suggestions would be great! I have to buy tires as soon as possible, I got ran off the road by someone running a red light and blew one of my tires really need to get my Camaro back on the road, I hate not having it driveable.

Alright! So 275/40/17 up front and 305/35/18 in the rear would be a good combination?

That'll be pretty sick if you ask me. And NT 555's would be perfect if your using for street, that's what I'm getting when I shop for tires next.

I agree, nittos are not as wide as other tires.

Thanks man! Yeah I've been looking at these tires for awhile! I fell in love with them due to their looks and also they got an incredible rating! Really looking forward to them! They definitely will beat my Hankooks.... those things could never get traction, even on a warm sunny day

Might want to check with WS6Store.com. Surprisingly, they had the best price when I was shopping for a set. Free shipping and tax free.

Alright ya'll a change of plans, some unexpected issues came up so I'm gonna have to change my choice in tires due to having to spend money on something else now. As of right now it has Ventus Hr2 (( 245/50r16)) which are terrible tires! Never get them!

I currently have a set of (( 275/40r18 )) BFGoodRich G-Force T/A KDW and I'm just going to mount those on the back and buy new tires for the front. What size tire should I get for the front? I'm planning on running 275/40/17 up front and 295/35/18 after this set but just really need to get it out on the road as soon as possible.

Should I run 255/40r17 for the front for now or is that too small? The rims are 17x9.5" for the front and 18x10.5" in the rear. Any help would be great guys! Thanks again for all ya'lls help!

Alright thank you! That's what I was thinking would be the best bet, that way when I do get the money and my rear tires are shot (( Bought used with about 75% tread )) I can just replace them for the larger ones. Do you think it'll be okay to run on the 245/50r16 up front with the the 275/40r18 in the rear until the new front wheels get in? Or would that be too unbalance?

Anyone know if it'll be an okay (( Safe )) setup to run 245/50r16 up front with the the 275/40r18 in the rear until the new front wheels get in? I just ordered my new tires for the front (( 275/40r17 BFG KDW2 )) and the back are as of now (( 275/40r18 BFG KDW1 orginal)) I'd be running this setup until about Saturday in which hopefully my new front tires come in. Any suggestions would be great! Once the back tires go out I'm replacing them with 295/35r18 BFG KDW2

Someone please help me, I'm going insane.... I'm going to mount the 275/40r18 for the back today. What front size tire should I buy for now? What is the best size to avoid the abs light from coming on? What is the maxium difference allowed?

Alright thank you! 255/35r17 for the front and 275/40r18 will work together and not set off the ABS or low traction? Thanks in advance!

Yea dont make the mistake I did and get regular tires for the rear. The drag radial investment is well worth the $

How do you plan to use the car? Daily driver in all kinds of weather or just a weekend toy? Any drag strip use or purely street? Any street racing? How many miles per year?
