are they 9" or 9 1/2"? with that being said, i know there is a guide somewhere that tells you the range of tire widths you can pput on each width rim, but cant find it.....basically, i wanna figure out whats the widest rubber than can be used and still look decent on a 9.5 incher, looking to hopefully run 295s

Rubber doesn't stick out past the fenders. I've owned 20+ wheels that have been 17x11s in the rear. I personally wouldn't buy anything else and Im sure many would agree. You'll likely regret going 9.5s.

This is not "sticking out of the fender"

It is considered to be sticking out of the fender of it sticks out passed the top portion of the fender. But as you can see, it's flush.
*Im not sure who's car that is, just used it for demonstration purposes.
