Default Lowest possible offset on wheels

Just wondering what the lowest offset some people have seen on an f-body?

The sticky says +38 but I want to go lower than that. The wheels I'm looking at are 10.5" wide.

I've seen a few people say they are running +36 wheels.

Has anyone pulled their fenders?

welcome fellow central illinoisian lol (Im about 25 min away from ya)

the sticky is just a general outline however, sadly it will tend to vary from wheel to wheel, are you looking at buying a new or used set?

if its a used set locally, ide ask to test fit them and go form there

if your buying a new set... depending on what kind of deal your getting on them... worse case you may have to run some adapters

is your looking at another set of LM's there is a company that makes a correct offset for our cars, just let me know and i can find them for you...

It's a wheel that has never seen an f-body before :-)

That's why I'm asking, they are being custom made for me. It said that anything under +38 such as +15 or +0 even would stick out past the fenders.

I guess I could always stretch the tire to make them fit under the fenders, worst case scenario.

If you are getting them custom made...why don't you just get an offset that will fit.

i did a bunch of research on them a while back lol i had planned on running them on my car

you could always just roll the fender... quite a few guys have done that

they are probably custom made to order however, with they may only do pre determined offsets

Yepp, __Z__ is right. I'd like to run the lowest offset possible that way the spokes are more concave instead of being flush with the lip.

I am kinda in the same boat. I put the 2010 camaro Brembo set up on my car and now I need at least a 40mm offset to clear the brakes. Right now I have a 15mm spacer and that scares me sometimes.

So what width and offset are your current wheels? +40mm and a 15mm spacer would be +25mm.

I'm trying to get as close to 0 as possible. The current options are +0, +15, +22, +30.

and rightfully so, had a buddy running spacers was hitting a hard corner, and snapped all his studs, and lost a wheel

if you have the space, switch to a 1" wheel adapter instead of using spacers

Could you post some pictures of your fitment in here?

And after some research your wheels came in either +25 or +22 for that size.

You could safely run a 0 offset... if the wheel is 7" wide

In your case, on a 10.5" wheel, I wouldnt go lower than 31mm. I have 36mm offset 11" wide wheels and they (tires) rub the quarters on big bumps...so, do the math, give or take the thickness of a fingernail, 31mm will fit similar to mine

I just talked to them and I was mistaken. The concavity of the wheels is the same for all offsets they just have more or less on the hub so the lugs sit deeper.

Looks like I will be going with the +30's front and rear.

concave really has nothing to do with the offset numbers but more with the design of the rim
unless of course you were getting something like custom made monoblock HRE's or something.
