Yup, it can be, and has been done.. Check out http://weldcraftwheels.com/

Its not cheap, but if you like the wheels, stick with them!

probably be worth it, especially if 2 tires are good.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Especially since OE wheels wont make the speedlines. I think I gave 700 for mine w/o tires. That was a few years ago when everyone wanted them but 400 sounds really good to me.

Car is done with the exception of some rear suspension parts to install and then dyno tuning...

Those are some nice lookin wheels and tires!!

The only thing Im not a fan of, is when you snap pictures from a certain angles, it looks like the wheels are hanging out of the fenders even though they are tucked.

Agreed. I don't have my adjustable PHB yet, and the drivers side is the most offensive looking... I'll take a few more once the axle is centered (and after the springs have settled too, they have to relax some after having the car in the air for four months).

When you sent your wheels out to be widened, did you have to supply an extra set of donor wheels for them to cut up to splice in a section to your widened wheels? Or did they make the section?

Sent out late January I think? I can't remember... door to door took about 5 or 6 weeks - pretty damned reasonable if you ask me for the amount of work involved.

No donor wheels supplied - they made the section.

Sharp looking wheels. I REALLY want to do this with my 10 spoke wheels. Here in VA they do a state inspection every year. Do you think they would fail the car for modified wheels?

That's a really good question! I used to live in VA so I know how **** they can be.

Honestly, I doubt they'd even notice. But if you're worried about I'm pretty sure James can smooth out the weld on the inside. You could then have them painted or powdercoated and nobody'd even know they were widened.

Also, I gotta take some new pics. Since I got an adjustable PHB and centered the axle it looks much less offensive on the driver's side....

I live in Chesapeake, and they didnt even look twice at my wheels.
