Question 17" MT ET Streets..what tube size???

I'm running the MT ET Streets and after getting a flat tire yesterday I need to remount the tires with tubes according to the people that fixed my flat(these tires are suppose to be tubed...but most folks are going without).

I cannot seem to find any that fits the MT 17". Any recommendations...Jegs sells the tire but no tubes that fit???

Size: 26 x 11.5-17LT
Rim: 9''
Tread: 10''
Section: 11.5''
Diameter: 26''

Thanks,

Ron

I run them and according to MT, they don't require tubes.

MT told me the same but they are a tubed type tire...therefore, one big problem is repairing a flat because they are not designed to patch (this is according to the guy to patched mine and said it was a temporary fix and to get a tube ASAP...). I've tried to get ahold of Mike at MT since my flat but he has not retured my call.

Still a great tire just need the tube

I thought these things we not released yet . Have you had them to the track yet, and if so how did they perform?

I tried them for the first time at my local 1/8 track.
I normally run 8.2 - 8.6 depending on my 60' which is usually 2.2 - 2.4

1st run @ 20 psi, lousy burnout. 8.6 @ 2.2
Next runs @ 16 psi, lousy burnout. 8.0 @ 2.0
Tried it with some water @ 16 psi. Nice smokey burnout. 7.5 @ 1.8

I'm hoping that the tires alone will get me to the 11.50 range. I usually run about 11.72 with a 1.7 60ft. If you got .2 in the 1/8 mile I should be right there. Funny thing is I hear different stories about the tires being released or not?

You dont need tubes. I've run these tires for the past 5 years with no tubes.Heres a video of me using my 16's from my 3rd gen on my 02SOMWS6 .they hook hard if you do a good burnout. You dont need tubes. ftp://68.194.14.214/files/racing_vid...2TransAmWS6LS1
