Skinnies too big
Not sure of the offset size but the tire size is 26x6-15. Looking at it from the side it looks like maybe the tire is too fat.
Should I run a 26x7.5-15? And is it possible the offset is wrong or is there only one offset size that will fit on here?
Thanks!

I know I've seen other racestars that look like they are more tucketed in then sticking out like mine.

you need a 26x7.5 15 in the sportsman PRO tire, if you want to change to a 7.5. It is a bias ply, but it's the actual tread width that is measured, not the width of the tire (Actual tread goes into the sidewall). That's the tire I ran (see sig pic)
I personally wouldn't run the 165 VW tires, our cars are way to heavy for them. I have ran them and millions of others run them without problems, but I wouldn't do it again.
are you running a spacer? to me it almost looks like the wheel sticks out too far. or maybe the offset is wrong. FWIW The tire looks about right on the wheel (doesn't bulge too much)

No spacers, but I do use these black plastic rings I guess so the wheel can fit snug on the rotors. I had the wheels off yesterday and didn't even think about looking for the offset size or measure them.
Fitz I am running M/T sportsmans right now, not sure if they are the pro's.
So I guess I need to measure for offset size 1st, if they are 1.75bs I have correct rims and wrong tires?

If you have 1.75 BS wheels they are correct. And your running the correct tires. Just make sure if you have bias rears you run bias fronts, and if you have radial rears you run radial fronts.
I run VW 165/80/15 front tires with no problems. Overinflated them to 35-40psi for the track, and normal psi for the little street driving I do to/from the track.

They seem fine to me. I may only drive on the streets on the weekends and sometimes drive to the track with them. I did drive back from the track last night during a tornado warning, flood warning, severe thunderstorm warning, and might have been a tsunami warning and made it home with no issues.
