Default Fikse Profil 5 Teaser Pics

Just some quick teaser pictures of my new wheel set up during the initial mock up process. Specs on the wheels are 18x10 (1.5" outer, 8.5" inner) and 18x11 (2.0" outer, 9.0" inner). I'm still undecided about rear tires... I already have the fronts sitting around at my shop (275/35/18). I want to run 555R 305/35/18's out back but am unsure if I can fit them and have found very little information on them as far as them running "true to size".

Before anybody comments about the ride height. Yes I know it's probably "too low" for most but I like it that way. And yes I realize i'm losing performance and smacking the bump stops at this height. However, I have cut a 1.98 60 foot with this suspension set up on 245/50/16 riken raptors with an M6.

Without further delay... the pictures. Any input is welcome (positive and negative) especially about the tire size in question (305/35/18 555R). Thanks!

Looks good to me, I'd try a 315/30/18 for that width though.

awesome! Although they look like the classic FM5s. I think the Profil series have more of an indention in the center.

BTW the Nitto 555Rs do run a bit small. I have the NT555 in 315/35/17 mounted on a 17x11 and with the tires mounted on the wheels and the wheel laid flat on the floor with a straight edge across the top they measure in at 12.5" exactly. I know the 555Rs are almost a full inch narrower. I thought about getting the 555Rs for the rear, but it would just look dumb with the front tires being so much wider.

Look into some Toyo R888s or some Kuhmo XS, from my research they run true to sizem but the Toyos wear out fast, like 3500 miles or so if you drive aggressive.

The Kuhmo XS is going to be the next set of tires that I buy. That is if they are actually in stock when I order them. I just about bought a set of R888s off of ebay last winter for $650 shipped for all 4 tires, kind of kicking myself for that, but oh well.

Good luck with the tire choice
