Default fikse FM5 wheel help.

I have a set of FM5's that I had for my C5 but I sold the car last year and kept the FM5s. I tried to put them on my Z and the rears fit but the fronts didn't. They are 17s in front and 18s in the rear. I looked at them and found the center part was too small to fit over the hub center. I know the 2 cars have different offsets but it also looks like the part of the wheel has an insert held on with allen head screws. So. A few questions:

1. Is the insert thats held on by those screws be swapped for an fbody insert?
2. Should I machine the center wheel hub part to fit?
3 or should I just sell or trade them off and get the correct fbody offset?

Id hate to sell them because they have newer goodyear F1s on them (Approx 10k on them) but I am not real keen on the BFH mod on the rear or grinding on anything on the front. What say y'all?

Actually I haven't contacted them. I figured it would be too much of a PITA to demount, ship the wheels, etc. However the more I think about it, I will just sell them to some who can use them on their C5 or is willing to do the BFH mod their car. Oh well I guess I will take some pix some and post them in the for sale section in the next few days..

17x10 front and 18x12 on the rear IIRC. Tires are 295/35 zr18 rear and 265/40 zr17 in the front.

Do you have a picture showing how those tires look on the wheels? Wondering if the stretch is noticable or not.

Just run a small spacer on the rear and you don't need to BFH. I'm not sure on the fronts tho can you post a pic? It must be a Fikse thing because CCW's in vette sizes and offsets fit on Fbodies no problem.

Yeah, I decided that I didn't want to mess with it. I just posted up the for sale thread in the classified section a little while ago.
