C5 Wheels??? What tires???

Default C5 Wheels??? What tires???

I bought some factory C5 rims for cheap fronts are 17x9 and rear 18x9.5 ???? Can i use 255/40/18 in the front and 285/40/18 for rear the car is lowered 1.2 in or theres a better set up???

You can go cheap, sumitomos...unless your autocrossing... buy the correct sizing..
I looked for packaged deals iff fleabay... got a set cheap (no tax+ no shipping to me) dis tire

On my magnesium c5 wheels I run 275/40/17 on the front and on the rear its a 295/35/18 no bulging and it handles well. A lot of vette guys run those sizes and it works just fine for them too

This. The first size you said OP for the fronts will make the tires look stretched and wouldn't look good compared to the rears.

I like a uniform look where the fronts match the rears as far as the tire being properly sized for the wheel. Not this 245 tire on a 9.5in wheel and a 315 on a 11in wide rear wheel. Everything for me has to be in tune with me.

So whay size tire would u go to be in tune for

I'd go with a 275/40/17s up front, and 285/40/18s rear.

No the 18 won't fit a 17. A 275/40/17 will fit a 17x9. I don't know what C5 wheels you have.my Y2k wheels (OEM) were 17x8.5 and came with 245 stock.

Sorry meant 275/40/17 will fit 17x9 im assuming 275 is to wide i was assuming that i can as wide as 255/40/17 on a 17x9 cus yes they come 245 factory but again i was wondering if i could go a wider with 255
