Default CCW Classics lips...

Is it just me or do some of the lips look different than others, heres one style I've seen...

and here is another...

Is it just me or do these lips appear to be different? Its almost as if the first ones make the centers appear smaller, I like both styles I was just wondering if there is a difference?

I forgot the exact year difference, but the ccws in the first 2 pictures are the older style. Basically they used the same multi spoke face for the 16 and 17 inch wheels, and just used different lips. It just gave it a stepped look I guess. And they are 20bolt. The lower 2 pics are a 30bolt wheel. And they no longer have the stepped lips.

Yeah, there are companies that will make and sell you the old stepped lip styles though.

I believe Rotiform does them.

The lips in the first pic appear to be deeper.

I think classics offer both stepped lips and regular lips don't they?

All of our 3 piece wheels use step lips. Like said though, the first 2 pictures are older 17" wheels, which used a 20 bolt center. Newer 17/18" parts use 30 bolt, 16's however still use the same 20 bolt center

^looks good man, I want to get bigger lips so bad but they are so expensive, like 225 each! IDK if I can justify spending that kind of money for another inch or inch and a half of lip!

I have 17s on the front with 30 bolts, and 16s on the rear with 20.

So they will sell a stepped lip for these? Therefore it would make a 17 in. wheel an 18 inch wheel? That is my White Camaro Z28 in the above pic btw, I have the newer style CCW Classics but I like the old style lips a lot...

Personally think the smoother lip looks better. Either way one of my favorite wheels.

I have the old 20 bolt style and I think they look great. 17x11 all around. Unfortunately they switched to a 30 bolt pattern and bigger centers in around 1997 or so. The 20 bolt parts are still available but are hard to get and are on short supply. I am sure you could custom order a new lip for a 20 bolt if they didn't have it in stock but will probably cost you double.

Fikse still uses 20 bolt. CCW and IForged use 30. BBS uses 34. HRE uses 40.

FYI you can use 40 bolt lips on 20 bolt centers.
