I'm going to purchase two rear wheels from OE. They are 18" Z06 style wheels and are 10.5" wide. I want to run 315's on these and that leads me to my first question. What will I have to do to run that wide of a tire? Also I have looked for tires in that size and can't find much. Is anyone running a tire this size that can give me some recommendations?

315s are kind of an odd size for 18's. The tire is either to short or to tall IMO. Stick with a 305/35, like a toyo R888

I have 315/30 R18 Toyo R888s on mine. They are 25.4" in diameter. Can't really tell the difference between it and a 26" tall tire.

its not much. only a hair over 1/4" of additional sidewall between the two.

Does anyone know of a good place I can get two 315's for a decent price? Any deals out there? I have checked tire rack and a few other places and they are pricey.

18 inch tires are pricey,thats about the only bad thing about 18s,besides doing lil mods so they fit the rear,maybe ya can find a good used set for sale on tech,my buddy found 2out 305/35s for 200a and they were in great shape

I will definitely take a look and keep an eye out for some on here. I would stay with 17's, but OE doesn't make my style wheel (z06) in a 10.5" to run a wider tire.
