If all you car about is straight line grip (street or track) then the MT is for you. If you want something that will last almost as long as a Nitto 555R, work decent in the rain, and will hook much better then the 555R then you might want to consider the Toyo Proxes TQ drag radial. I base this on my personal experience after owning both

These tires are being mounted on some 16'' stock Iroc rims, and will only be track tires. Only hasle doing the swap at track, but even that wont take long. I think im gona stick with some regular street tires after these nittos, but will see.
