ZR1 17x11 replicas on Trans Am
Hey guys I have a 2000 Trans Am WS6. Before I start off yes I know this topic has been wore into the ground and yes i did multiple searches and couldn't find a solid answer as it was either one or the other. Anyways im looking into the ZR1 replicas from oe wheels, the 17x9.5 in the front and the 17x11 deep dish in the rear with the 50 offset. I know the fronts will fit fine but the rears concern me. Some people say there's bolted right on with no problems and some say they had to BFH and grind bumpstops. I need to know what should I expect? Iam stock ride height and plan to stay that way. Any info would be greatly appreciated

On my Camaro, I had to use an adjustable panhard bar, trim the bumstop mounts (after installing smaller urethane bumps), roll the outer lip and slightly hammer the inner wheel well in the front/lower portion (just forward of the axle, above the lower control arm)
I have read that some cars need less, some need more... I also used 315/35/17 Nitto NT555's which I am told are "narrow" by 315 standards.
I have absolutely no experience on Pontiac's...

i have them. I had to center my rear, and grind my bumpstops, only for when the rear is hanging. Like on a lift. my my lt1 car 17x11s fit no problem. I havent rolled my fenders or done any BFH mods.

Just make sure thats the direction ya wanna take with it,just to ask what tires ya going with?11inch rears with 315s gives the best look on these cars, every car is different ,i would get the wheels n tires first then if ya need a panhard get one,i see maybe a few wacks with a hammer n maybe a lil grinding,

I'm getting the package with the shitty sumitumo tires haha. I know they suck but since I only drive this car maybe 2000 miles a year now that I got my dd I don't need sticky tires yet. For now I only drive it to shows or big cruises. And since I'm only full bolt on and tune not making crazy power I think I'll be fine.
