Default 17"s or 18"s!?

I'm trying to decide between 17"s and 18"s.

I plan to get the same rims all around simply because this is a daily driver and I'd prefer being able to perform rotations, etc.

Which should I get? Its a White 99 WS6 and I want to get Hyper Black C6 rims.

Would it require any modifications to do 18"s?

These would look way better. Plus they are on sale too.

PewterLurch - how lowered is your bird? - I've got BMR springs, on mine.
Do you need the 1/4 spacers to fit 18s in the back?

*02WS6TURK* - Those actually look pretty good, I'm gonna see if I can find some white trans ams rocking those

I remember when my friend got 18"s all around, he had to roll his fenders in the back. - Would I need to do that or get spacers?

it would have to be a hell of a spacer.. i got rid of mine bc i hated the way it looked from the back.. the rear tires sat in alot.. and i have bmr/hose mod on the rear.. even with a spacer i wouldnt have need to roll fenders

it's not the diameter of the rim
but the width and offset
that makes it necessary to roll the fenders.

personally I would go with 18x10's or 18x10.5's all around

Your better off with some 17" wheels... You have more tire size options without having to modify anything.

I might stick with the 17" idea, since Blackpanther99 has a point on not having to modify anything and more tire size options.

IMO, go with the 17 x9.5s, it'll ride better, handle just as good, and the tires will cost a lot less than 18s. Now if you're going to install a BBC within the near future then I'd go ahead an get the 18's.

Yeah, I've pretty much decided to go with the 17s all around. Staggered would be cool, but I drive it quite a bit so I'll go with those.
