Default aftermarket ZR1 replica wheel question

Ok so i know there are several companies who make replica ZR1 and grand sport wheels and I am slightly confused on the offsets they list on their websites.

-1st there is "AFS wheels" that make a 17X9.5 (front) and 17X11 (rear). they have two offsets for the rear, one is the ZR1 36mm offset which have the dished look and the other is the grand sport 50mm offset that DO NOT have the dished look. The AFS website does not have any pictures of the rear wheels for either offset, it only shows a picture of what I assume are the front wheels.
Here is the link to the grand sport 50mm offset.

http://shop.afswheels.com/AFS-fits-8...-1-Set-S7P.htm

Here is the link to the ZR1 36mm offset..notice they show the same wheel in both link.

http://shop.afswheels.com/AFS-fits-8...-1-Set-S9P.htm

-2nd there is "OE wheels LLC" This company from what I see only makes the 11" ZR1 36mm offset. Pictures appear to be correct showing the "dished" rears. They however DO NOT list any offsets or backspacing on their links, does anyone know for sure if these are the 36mm offset or something else??Here is the link to all of their ZR1 wheels in the different finishes.

http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Wheels_3/...aro-Wheel-Sets

-3rd there is "JWmotoring" who makes a 17x11 ZR1 replica. The picture they show is a dished ZR1 wheel, however their info states the rears are 50mm offset. How is this possible? any "ZR1 replica" wheel that has the dished rear SHOULD be a lower offset right? there's no way possible for the staggered ZR1 wheels to be offered in the higher 50mm offset correct? Link here:

http://shop.jwmotoring.com/product.s...&categoryId=20

I've read in another thread where someone stated there are several offsets available from different companies for the 17X11 ZR1 wheel OTHER THAN the 50mm and 36mm offset. Anyone know if that is correct?

These wheels will be going on my friend's 2000 WS6 (I'm doing the internet footwork for him lol) I'd like to straighten this out so he knows which company to order from. I've read and read and read about these wheels on several forums and can't seem to figure out if the 36mm ZR1s will fit on a TA without fender rolling with a 315 tire...OR if TAs require any modification to the bump stops and hammering to the inner fenders if you mount a 50mm grand sport wheel. I know the topic has been beat to death over the years but any info on these three wheel companies would be appreciated. THANKS!

Im planning on getting the polished ZR1 replicas from OE Wheels LLC in a couple of weeks and im getting the 17x9.5 fronts and 17X11 rears. The fronts are 56mm offsets and the rears are 50mm. When you look at the wheels your looking for, click the Specs tab next to the description of the wheels on OE Wheels llc website and it will give you all the specs you`ll need.

So are those the 11" wide rears with the stock SS looking face with no dish? I don't get it, I see all of these pics of camaros and t/as with the staggered zr1s and dished rears but everyone keeps recommending the 50mm offset wheels aka the "grand sport" style. Show a picture of the ZR1 50mm offset youre talking about.

Click on the "specs" tab from the OEWheels link:

Says rear are 50mm backspacing.
Regardless if that's accurate or not the wheels fit, but you may have to do some BFHing to the inner wheel wheels with fitting any 11" wide wheel. - The PHB suspension setup on these cars makes the rear suspension move in an arc shape, so the rear will slightly move from ones side to the other while moving up and down, this is what can cause the rubbing issues on the inside.
The factory bumpstops should be fine, but you will have to jack the rear up by the pumpkin to mount the 11" wheels. You also shouldn't have to roll the fenders as long as your bumpstops are stock length.

Heres my car in particular:

Your car looks so nice JD AMG, i just hope i dont have to do the BFH mod since my car isnt lowered and still has the stock bump stops when i order my ZR1 wheels from OE wheels. Going with the staggered ZR1 wheels as well. Kind of scares me when hearing about people that had to do the BFH mod to fit the wheels.

Thank you.
If you do have to end up doing the BFH mod its not a big deal at all, trust me. Its very simple and you really arn't beating the car hard, you simply tap the inner fender where the tire rubs to dent it in a little, then cover it back up with your preference of paint/rubber coating. You can do it well enough to make it unnoticeable.
Here check out some threads:
http://www.ls1.com/forums/f53/how-ma...rubbing-54618/
(you may not have to do any grinding)
https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...nt-bfhing.html
If you have extra money you could invest in a watts link, which will replace the PHB setup an do away with the arc suspension travel, this will drastically help with tire rub.

OE Wheels definately says the offset for both front and rear zr1s. Front 17x 9.5 is 56mm and the rear 17x11 is 50mm, im ordering mine next week. Just cant decide if i want to do the polished ones or the black with a polished lip.

Can anyone provide a picture (other than the stock photos on the website) of the rear zr1 wheels with both the 36mm and 50mm offset either on or off your car. I'd like to see the difference from the face of the wheel..because that first picture I posted of the black z28 is supposedly an 17x11" 50mm offset, but doesn't have the wider lip like oe wheels sells.

I have the 50mm offset wheels that have the deep lug pattern.

Can't help you with the 36mm.

Oook I get it now, see nobody specifies on their websites that there are 2 different types of 50mm offset 17x11" ZR1 wheels. After looking at pics of true c4 ZR1s and grand sports I realized that the wheels GM made had deeper lug holes which is where the offset came from rather than recessing the spokes and having a wider wheel lip like most of the replicas have. I would assume that those 36mm offset ZR1 replicas have an even deeper dish to them then. Thanks for the pics!

This is key. No problem, glad I could help.
The 50mm offset allow the wheel to tuck under the car.
You will see the wheel stick out from behind the car when the car has the OEM Zr1 36mm offset wheels. Some people call these the "vette offset."
The Adjustable Panhard Rod is a must if the car is lowered and running the 17x11 wheels in my opinion.

The 50 mm will get you the least or no rub on the fenders.
