Aren't they like over a 100 more for each wheel?

Jegs and Summit brand stuff from what I understand is usally made by a big name company just rebranded as there brand. Its usually pretty good stuff but alot cheaper.

The only option I'd consider for the summit wheel would be running a 15x8 rear with a Hoosier drag radial on it. The lighter weight of that specific tire would offset the additional couple lbs of the summit/jegs wheel. They're still not optimal, they still use the acorn lugs. But they are cheap, finish is good for the price, and fitment is ok depending on brake pad life. I'd still run a lighter wheel up front with a true front runner on it for the drag strip.

The jegs/summit wheels come from a no name brand company over seas. It's your money.

Jim's Racing Tires has great deals on Weld products.

Jims for sure, summit and jegs usally are priced a lil high on everything, its up to you man,my prostars have seen dd every summer,i drove on them a 1000miles a week last year on a 15x3.5 front wheel and never had an issue with bending etc,jegs/summit wheels are fine but i have seen a few sets of weld rts with tires for around 1500 on tech, its up to you but i have no issues buying used wheels, engine internals is another story,
