What's the cheapest method to ship a pair of tires?

when i get them from tire rack or discount they just come with a shipping label with a little tape around them.. ive also gotten some taped together.

Put a shipping label and taped around. Its still isnt very cheap at all

Thats how Summit Racing ships their tires also.

ups , tape them together with clear packing tape in like 4-5 spots and slap a label on em . Easiest and cheapest , its how tirerack has done it for years

That's the easiest way! Fedex will be the cheaper route to take.

I've sent and bought tires the same way as described above. No need to be fancy and package them up. The last ones I sold went to AZ from here in NC. UPS charged me $125 for a 'set of 4' covering that long distance. I imagine it would be about $60 or so for two tires unless the distance is even greater.
