Thanks, but the Challenger is my Dad's. The muscle car gene got passed down from him to me. I keep telling him he needs to put a procharger on it, but he daily drives his car right now, so until he retires in a year or two, he's keeping it mildly stock (exhaust/tune).
Here's the thing, what I have none of these days is free time. So I could have only powder coated select areas, and I consider it, but then what do I do with the un-coated areas? Do I take 3-4 hours per wheel and polish them out completely, then have those powder coated clear? I could have, but I chose to go down this path for the simplicity of keeping them clean and I had to do zero prep work other than have the tires taken off the wheels.

I hope you don't think I was questioning what you did because I think it looks great. I'm usually not a fan of all black/dark colored wheels, but those look sick. I was just curious if it was even possible just to do the centers because they are a one peice wheel. I think if I do decide to do this, I'll go with that color and have only the centers done. I'm so used to hand polishing all 4 wheels, so just having to do the lips would be a major accomplishment for me.
Trust me, I'm still not 100% about this color scheme. It's the first time in over 13 years that I've had something on the car that wasn't chrome or polished and it is kind of weird to me. I'm sure over time I'll be 100% happy with them. If not, we'll change it up.
Honestly, I would have liked to have had some part of the wheel left uncoated, but it really came down to I had no time to sit and polish them good enough to then have them coated and cleared. It's no problem for them to do that since they have special high temp tape to mask off specific areas that aren't to get coating.

I know you posted the link to all the different powdercoating colors you could choose from; did you have any other colors in mind, and if so, what where they? I browsed over it pretty quickly, but some of the gold/pewter color options looked intriguing. I was just curious if you considered any of them.
