Just wondering if they will fit that wheel?? I have 275/35 now and they fit like a glove.

They'll fit, but will be a bit taller than what you already have.

Ravenous,

do you have any rubbing problems in the back with the 295's and the pro kit?

Ravenous, you fit the 295 on a 9.5" rim? That's not a 10.5 right? Just making sure.

I just put the 285/35/18 GSD3's on my camaro, and I've got quite a few rubbing issues on the front. The rims are Cragar SS with +36mm offset. The tire actually rubs the part of the bumper cover that wraps around the car into the wheel well, so when I turn the wheels, it pushes the bumper cover out...not good. I think I'll be able to work through it, but no luck so far and I've tried a couple ideas already. I just can't believe it made such a different, they are only .19" taller, and .39" wider...gotta be the offset!

I'm not really concerned about the fronts, but good info for others. I'll just be putting the 285/35/18 Nitto 555R's on the rear and keeping the 275/35/18 Nitto 555's on the front.

You can 'freak out' your ABS and TCS by using tires of different heights. Width doesn't matter, but some of your car's systems work off of sensors that measure wheel revolutions, if all 4 aren't in sync, it throws codes and lights.
The height difference you are talking isn't much, so someone else will have to jump in and say if it is enough to mess you up.
You will also throw your speedo out slightly.
Good luck
Just a heads up
Dave

I'm not sure about the sensors mentioned above, but if you are only putting 285's on the rear, then you'll be golden from the standpoint of rubbing or not.

do you have any pictures of that set up on the front because right now I have 275/35/18, and I was thinking about going with the 285's

285/35/18 +38 squared, no rubbing issues. Firebirds have even wider fender/qtrs too
