After reading some posts about customers bad experiences, I agree with you about the middle man being the problem. I did also go through a middle man, whom I found here on this site.

Took me a bit to get my Forgestars, and they weren't very good at communicating....Tony at DV8 was great though, hope you ordered through him.

I paid a bit over $1300 for mine. I remember Tony telling me forgestar's inventory is kinda screwed up. They have different types of wheels in different finishes and a limited supply of materials, or something to that degree. I picked up one of three sets of F14's forgestar had at that time. I wonder what really takes them weeks? Maybe they make one set at a time?

so these are forged not cast right? (im assuming yes) but how much do they weigh, or typical weight savings?

Kind of an inbetween honestly. They are not fully forged, they use a method call flowforging. Same thing the Porsche and Ferrari race cars run. I want to say my 18x10 weighed in at right around 19.5lbs

Honestly, Forgestar is a total pain in the *** to deal with. Was quoted 5 to 6 weeks, ended up taking just over 8 weeks. Went through nineball, he was great to deal with throughout the process. Product was awesome though, wheels are super light, balanced easy, and look amazing. I was worried about ordering due to some of the negative reviews, but after seeing the wheels I wanted nothing else. Order these wheels if you have time to wait.
