Well, here they are. I got the tires mounted and balanced yesterday and put them on the car after lunch. I will be ordering a set of Viking coil-overs for the front and rear this winter. The lowered stance will make the setup look even better and help with getting the Mickey Thompson's to hook better. I took the car out for a test driver after I got the wheels on and she rides great. The tires did break loose for a split second going from 1st to 2nd, but hooked like a champ after that.

You didn't go Nitto? MT will hook better, but on the street, I'd rather have the Nittos.

Also, do the rears stick out at all? Did you go with a 7.25" BS?

The rears don't stick out at all. The place I ordered them from said Race Star never offered the Dark Stars in a 7.5 bs. He said they had it wrong on their website, but corrected it after they realized the mistake. So, anyone who says they have a 7.5 bs in the 15x10's is wrong; it's actually 7.25 bs.

Thanks Matt! That looks great and gives me more motivation to get some Viking coil-overs ordered. By the way, how did you do that? Any way you could do that to picture number 4 and the last picture?

I figured it was something in photoshop, but wasn't sure. I've never really messed with it before. Thanks Matt.

Guess it's time to change the signature pic huh?

My question is how do the MT handle on the street in 15s?

From the drive I took last night (street driving in traffic and full out runs on the highway), they handle great. Exiting my subdivision, the tires broke loose for a split second going from 1st to 2nd, but after that, they hooked up like a champ and did great on the street and highway. I think a lot of it has to do with how much PSI you run in them.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty sure this is the only F-Body running the 17x9.5 Dark Stars up front with the 15x10's in the back. I was a little worried how it was going to look, but I'm really happy with how they turned out. For what I do with the car, it just made sense to run a wider wheel up front. Another great thing is the height difference between the front wheels/tires and rear wheels/tires is basically identical, so no ABS issues.

Love the new look! What PSI has worked well so far on the set-up?

I've been looking into doing the exact same set-up this last month. I've seen pictures online, but no useful details. Your post has gotten rid of the doubts I was having about it. I'm so glad you shared! Thank you!

I knew it would look good and work without a hitch with the abs, but I admit I wasn't sure how it would look with the 275's up front since all the cars I've seen normally run a very noticeably narrower front wheel/tire package.
IMO, looks great, and the black chrome like finish is sweet!
